Mr. Manny Medina

Manny Medina is one of South Florida’s most successful tech entrepreneurs noted for selling his Terremark data services company in 2012 to Verizon Communications for $1.4 billion.  He has since opened a private equity firm that recently announced the closing of the firm’s first fund with $182 million of committed capital.  Medina will focus on early growth-stage companies in cyber-security, big data, mobility and cloud computing.  Medina also recently founded eMerge Americas, which will hold its second annual technology conference in Miami Beach this May.  The mission of the eMerge and Medina’s Technology Foundation of the Americas is to help establish Miami as a tech hub for the Americas
