Mr. Andrew Lutfy / CEO, Groupe Dynamite & Carbonleo

Andrew Lutfy started his career as a stock clerk in 1982 at the very first GDI store and is today the sole owner, President and Chief Executive Officer of GDI. In 2012, Andrew co-founded the property development and management powerhouse, Carbonleo, where he serves as President & Chief Executive Officer. Andrew has been recognized with the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2007 and the Distinguished Retailer of the Year Award in 2016. He is a dedicated philanthropist and serves as Capital Campaign Cabinet Co-Chair of Cedars Cancer Foundation, was Co-Chair of the record-breaking 2019 Centraide campaign, and has instilled across GDI a strong sense of commitment to our community and charity organizations.
